Plant Based Maple Brown Butter
Yield 3/4 cup
You'll never find a plant-based butter that's easier to make than this one!
¾ cup of unsalted plant based butter
1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup
Pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper
Carefully heat butter in a small pan over medium low heat until it turns into a light golden brown and there are some little brown bits at the bottom of the pan
Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes
Add the maple syrup, salt and pepper to the bowl of room temperature butter
Pour in the melted butter and whisk until all incorporated. Allow to cool slightly before using
Store in a mason jar then your fridge for weeks
