Grainburger Avocado Toast with Arugula Salad
Avocado Toast with a Chef Pino spin! You won't regret trying this super-easy vegan recipe!
1 Package ofZoglo’s Incredible™ Grain Burger
4 Thick Slices of Rustic Style Bread
2 Avocados (sliced)
½ Red Onion (thinly sliced)
1 Package of Arugula
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt (to taste!)
Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste!)
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat
For the Bread
Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil on both sides of the bread and place it in the frying pan until golden on both sides (this will take about 2-3 minutes!). Remove the bread from the pan and set aside
For the “Burger”
Using the same pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the Zoglo’s Incredible™ Grain Burger for 2-3 minutes on each side
For the Salad
To make the salad, simply toss the arugula with a little olive oil, the juice from half of the lemon, salt and pepper. Be sure to toss this well!
Place the toasted bread onto a plate and top with the Zoglo’s Incredible™ Grain Burger, half an avocado and a few slices of red onion
Drizzle with a little olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper
Garnish with a wedge of lemon and serve the salad alongside
